Tyler Hornby / Audrey Ochoa Quartet

The Tyler Hornby / Audrey Ochoa Quartet brings together two of Canada and Alberta’s most dynamic and high-energy musicians: drummer Tyler Hornby and JUNO-nominated, Western Canadian Music Award-winning trombonist Audrey Ochoa. With a deep connection to jazz, groove, and improvisation, the quartet showcases their artistry in a powerful blend of contemporary jazz and Latin rhythms. Both Hornby and Ochoa are masters of their instruments, known for their versatility and innovative approach to music, making this quartet an exciting collaboration. As mentors for the new Youth Jazz Intensive at the Medicine Hat JazzFest, they inspire the next generation of musicians with their passion and dedication to the art form.

Joining Tyler and Audrey is Jeremy Coates on bass and Jon Day on keyboard.
